The days are getting shorter. The nights a little cooler. Time to start thinking about getting ready for skiing.
The SJNC will be having a few trail work days to get Rock Creek ready for the season.
Saturday, August 27, 9:00 – Rock Creek. We aim to be done by 12:00.
Meet at gate by picnic table. The area of emphasis will be on the trails between the winter parking and the meadow.
The focus will be on pruning again this year. There are lots of aspen suckers that have come up on the trails. We also need to prune some trees along the main road. This year we will be marking the archery trails for snowshoers. To get these trails ready we will need to prune some of the trees on those trails.
