Ski/Snowshoe at the Historic 4UR Ranch!
4UR Ranch, a private guest ranch, has graciously opened its gates to the public for this event. Visitors are invited to hang out by the fire and enjoy a hot drink, or go for a ski or snowshoe with their friends and family.
If you would like to join us, but don’t have skis, rentals are available at Kristi Mountain Sports in Alamosa and Del Norte, and 8200 Mountain Sports in South Fork.
Ski on the the trails from 9am to 2pm.
Ski clinics at 10am.
At noon Sandy Wagner, who is working on a history of the 4UR ranch will give a short talk around the bonfire.
Bring a dish/treat/drink to share for the potluck and bonfire at noon. And bring your own dishes and utensils for eating!!!! Come fellow skiers and snowshoers. This is a truly unique opportunity!
In case of poor snow conditions, the backup date is Saturday, January 26th.
