Ski & Gear Swap Dec 2nd
This is the 6th year of the SJNC offering a Ski & Gear Swap to help give people a venue to get outdoor gear and try new sports.
We will follow the same process this year as the previous years. Items may either be sold for personal profit or donated and sold by the Club for our benefit. Regular registration fee is $1 per item. Current Nordic Club members can register items for free.
Drop off items to sell Time- December 1, 2017 1:00-5:00 or December 2, 2017 9:00-10:00
Purchase Items- Saturday Dec. 2nd from 10am – 1pm.
Pick up unsold items– December 2nd, 1:00 – 3:00.
(If the drop off and pick up times do not work for you then you may make special arrangements through Adam Moore.)
Where– Colorado State Forest Service office in Alamosa. 129-A Santa Fe (Blanca Telephone/Go Jade building), near Hwy 17 & 160 between the Loaf & Jug and Days Inn.
How you can help: Consider donating gently used outdoor equipment.
Help advertising by printing and posting the flyer. Let anyone that you think might be interested know about the event.
Volunteering at the event. We will need volunteers on Friday, December 1 to help register items. During the swap on December 2 we need volunteers to help register items and help people select proper equipment. A volunteer who knows appropriate pricing & sizing for snowboards would be great.
If you have any questions please contact Adam Moore at 336-607-4465 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Time to pay the 2017 – 2018 Dues!
We have gone electronic, so you can Join/renew right now or you can do it the old fashion way: download a form and mail it in.
The annual dues season of the SJNC is June 1 – May 31.
The SJNC Board is trying out a new, convenient registration process this year – it’s an online registration process that accepts credit cards. The e-membership accommodates donations, so please consider giving a bit more to help support the SJNC in its efforts to groom and maintain our local ski & snowshoe trails.
Next Board meeting: to be determined.
See agenda and past meeting notes here . Come participate with a group of great people! We depend on our volunteers to get it all done, so we can be out on the snow!
Your hard working Board for 2017-2018:
The trails are groomed for classic and skate skiing and they are free and open to all! Please see the Trails page for more information.
