The last three years of the swap have been a good success and while out skiing we have run into numerous folks who started skiing due to purchasing items at the swap.
We will follow the same process this year as the last two years. Items may either be sold for personal profit or donated and sold by the Club for our benefit. Regular registration fee is $1 per item. Current Nordic Club members can register items for free.
Drop off items to sell Time- December 4, 2015 1:00-5:00 or December 5, 2014 9:00-10:00
Purchase Items- Saturday Dec 5th from 10am to 1pm.
Pick up unsold items– December 5, 1:00 – 3:00.
(If the drop off and pick up times do not work for you then you may make special arrangements through Adam Moore.)
Where– Colorado State Forest Service office in Alamosa. 129-A Santa Fe (Blanca Telephone/Go Jade building), near Hwy 17 & 160 between the Loaf & Jug and Days Inn.
How you can help: Consider donating gently used outdoor equipment.
Help advertising by printing and posting the flyer. Let anyone that you think might be interested know about the event.
Volunteering at the event. We will need volunteers on Friday, December 4 to help register items. During the swap on December 5 we need volunteers to help register items and help people select proper equipment. A volunteer who knows appropriate pricing & sizing for snowboards would be great.
