The San Juan Nordic Club is an informal non-profit organization composed of cross-country ski enthusiasts seeking to improve the cross-country skiing opportunities in the San Luis Valley area. Initial membership was approximately eight members. Over the last ten years membership has grown to eighty-eight members.
Please support the club by paying 2016/217 ski dues. (Click on dues to down load form to mail.)
The San Juan Nordic club groom trails for cross-country skiing at Rock Creek, Big Meadows and the South Fork Guard Station. The grooming equipment used to maintain these trails was obtained through a grant from Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO).
The trails are groomed for classic and skate skiing and they are free and open to all! Please see the trails page for more information.

The construction, maintenance and grooming of these cross-country ski trails throughout the San Luis Valley is done exclusively by volunteers who are members of the club.
