The San Juan Nordic club groom trails for cross-country skiing at Rock Creek, The grooming equipment used to maintain these trails was obtained in part through a grant from Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO).

The trails are groomed for classic and skate skiing and they are free and open to all! Please see the trails page for more information.

The construction, maintenance and grooming of these cross-country ski trails

throughout the San Luis Valley is done exclusively by volunteers who are members of the club. Annually, volunteer members donate approximately 110 hours of their time to the club to create and maintain ski trails for the public.

Please contribute to the club if you can. Your dues go to defray the costs of transportation, fuel and maintenance for our grooming equipment.
